Our Story
A family business, carried forward by the Ritters.
Brett-Lynn Farms has long been a family-run honey business in the Charlotte County area. In 2025, the Ritter family took over from the previous owners, who ran the business out of Back Bay, bringing their own passion for beekeeping to the hives in Bayside, New Brunswick.
Today, every jar is still filtered and bottled by hand — now at our shop on King Street in Saint Andrews. We supply honey and honey-based goods to local shops across the region, as well as directly to customers from our shop and the Saint Andrews farmers market.

Meet the Beekeeper
Markus Ritter
Markus has had a passion for beekeeping since he was a young boy growing up in Germany, where he took his very first beekeeping seminar. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong pursuit — and in 2025, it brought him and his family to Brett-Lynn Farms, where he now leads the hives and the family business alongside the Ritter family.
